GAMEJAM - SYDNEY'S FREE IGNITE-STYLE GAMES EVENT

OPEN TALKS & SCHEDULE
- The talks will be about anything to do with
- developing for or playing with console or pc games
- online games or creating and using virtual worlds
- games, film cross-over, machinima, writing, ai etc etc:
- educational, fun or just plain 'wtf'!.
- The user or creator angle is fine - just make sure it is not too geeky or too fanzy!

BEING FREE TO EXCHANGE IDEAS - LEGAL AGREEMENT NOTE

AGREEMENT OF ATTENDANCE: Important Note - To protect your intellectual property, it is a condition of your attendance at this free AFTRS event that you treat all projects presented as commercial-in-confidence. This means that you must not disclose any information about any project (including game, film, and TV concepts, story content, gameplay mechanics and related content and business information) to external parties. This agreement ensures that all attendees may feel free to pitch, workshop and discuss their ideas without risk or fear of intellectual property theft. You also hereby acknowledge that attendees may have similar projects in development.
It is also a condition of attending, that all attendees may later use/integrate any ideas and suggestions given by anyone during the day of the workshop into their project/s without any expectation of payment or credit. This ensures ideas can be freely workshopped without fear of copyright / moral rights claims or lawsuits. The Gamejam event both promotes and functions on industry goodwill and generosity.
INSTRUCTIONS & OTHER STUFF
- ITS EASY! There are a total of 17 ten minute slots for you to give us a great talk/demo/show tell - click the registration button above and send us in your talk title and ideal slot
- TIME LIMIT: We are happy for anyone to present for maximum of 8 minutes (plus 2 q&a)
- GEAR: We will have a dedicated mac & pc presentation for you to put your dongles in! But if you want please bring laptops with VGA or adapters or powerpoint, keynotes, video file or image batches in numbers -
- CAPTURE: We will record all talks and will do a fun compilation only...the full talks will only be published with your consent given on the day
